History
Annas Development & Building was founded by Jeff L. Annas, in Hickory, North Carolina; in April 2002. Jeff is a native of Hickory and a magna cum laude graduate of Lenoir Rhyne College. After working as a management person for United Parcel Service for more than 20 years, Jeff decided to pursue his compelling interest for the construction industry. Jeff prepared himself for his career change by earning the highest distinction of becoming an unclassified, unlimited general contractor; a feat rarely accomplished by any individual especially in such a short period of time. In April, 2006; after maintaining offices in both Hickory and Myrtle Beach, South Carolina for almost a year, Jeff decided to move the office permanently to Myrtle Beach which is where Annas Development & Building is located at today.

As a second generation builder, Jeff's goal as founder and President, is to help Annas Development & Building become recognized as the Carolina's Premier Custom Home Builder. Jeff strives to be a leader in both the construction industry and the local business community. Because of his concern and compassion for the construction industry and the citizens of the Grand Strand area, Jeff is an active member of the Better Business Bureau of Coastal Carolina, Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce, and the Horry-Georgetown Home Builders Association. In addition, Jeff is also a distinguished Paul Harris Fellow and active member of the Myrtle Beach Chicora Rotary, where he currently serves as Secretary and member of the Board of Directors.

Topography
We build homes in one of the fastest growing areas in the country; the Grand Strand area of North and South Carolina. This area has been recognized by several newspapers and trade publications recently, as one of the hottest housing markets in the country. It's no wonder with all the beautiful scenery, recreational opportunities, weather, and great family lifestyle that so abound here in this area. As evidence, the US Housing Markets recently ranked the Myrtle Beach area #2 on its Market Hotness Index. In addition, the US Census Bureau ranked the Myrtle Beach area as the 13th fastest growing area in the nation; while at the same time, Forbes Magazine referred to Myrtle Beach as the #1 second home market in the nation. Finally, in an April, 2007; poll taken on Yahoo Travel; Myrtle Beach was voted as the World's Best Beach Destination; finishing ahead of beaches in Florida, Hawaii, the Caribbean, and even Australia. The great news is that even with all these favorable reviews, there's still plenty of room for YOU to build your dream home right here in one of the most desired areas in the entire world.

In addition, we strive to utilize innovative and expert quality craftsmanship while at the same time, giving consideration to cost control in order to provide our customers the greatest value for their investment.

Vision
Our homes are built based on the customer's idea of their "dream home." We believe since a home is one of the largest investments a family will make, it should meet the needs of the owner and not the contractor. Therefore, we work closely with our clients to design and build a home that brings total customer satisfaction from excavation to turn key completion.
